Domains

Check availability, buy a domain, and configure DNS.

  1. Open /<orgSlug>/domains.
  2. Search a name — GET /api/v1/domains/check runs availability in the background.
  3. Save a WHOIS profile once (registrant contacts required by ICANN).
  4. Purchase the domain — Billing checks the active package and meters Alumia-paid domain infrastructure separately from model-token BYOK usage.
  5. Add DNS records on the domain detail page; use Verify when pointing at Alumia-hosted deployment targets.
  6. Connect the verified domain to the deployment target that should serve it, then re-run verification after DNS propagates.
